Our modern diet contains lower levels of fiber, minerals, phytonutrients, vitamins, and other valuable food components in comparison to natural, unprocessed foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and whole grains. Processed, low-nutrient-dense foods are unquestionably linked to poor health and decreased vitality and the increase of chronic diseases over the past century.

Superfoods represent a practical solution to our severely-deficient food supply by providing high-quality food substances such as amino acids, carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, enzymes, fiber, minerals, vitamins, and phytonutrients. They are easy digested and absorbed by our body.

Seaweed and Spurulina

Serve as a food source of essential amino acids, essential fatty acids, minerals, enzymes and vitamins. Except these vital nutrients, spirulina also remove the heavy metals from our body, thus detoxify our body. Seaweed is the natural source of iodine which is vital for optimal Thyroid function.

Chia Seeds:

Chia Seeds were used by the ancient Aztec culture and was an integral part of the Aztec diet. It’s called also < Running Food>, endurance food.

Chia has more protein than soy- and of a higher quality. It’s protein contains all of the essential amino acids needed by the body. With 38% of its weight as fiber, it has more fiber than flaxseed. It has 31% fat and is the highest plant source of omega -3 fatty acids.

Chia has six times more calcium than whole milk, 15 times more magnesium than broccoli and 3 times the antioxidant power of fresh blueberries. It’s lower in carbohydrates than other grains, low in sodium and is an excellent source of both soluble and insoluble fiber. It is equally as effective as fish oil in lowering TG and LDL cholesterol, while raising the HDL. Daily use of Chia seeds has been shown to significantly decrease blood pressure, C-reactive protein and fibrogenic factors. It also helps stabilize blood sugar levels. Daily recommended serving is two to three tablespoons for adults and one tablespoon for children.

Maca Powder:

it’s a plant that populations in Peru have used for thousands of years as a food and medicine. It’s a natural remedy for low sex drive, infertility, erectile dysfunction, relieving symptoms of menopause, low energy and mood swings. Daily dose is one- two teaspoons. Can mix in smoothies.

Quinoa: plant-based source of protein. Nutritionally it’s a whole grain. It’s loaded with essential vitamins, minerals , antioxidants and fibers. It’s gluten-free. Can eat as a replacement of rice, or make quinoa salad. Cooking is same as rice.

Buckwheat: it’s a healthy carbohydrate and packed with nutrients like magnesium, iron, manganese, folate, and protein. Rich in fiber. It’s consumption may boost heart health, promote blood sugar control. It is gluten-free. It’s a healthy replacement of rice. Cooking same as rice.
